Keys and references

Use the account Code within its Organization to reconcile client imports. Keep the opportunity record number with its Subject during migration. Parent on a design RFP, activity, decision, attachment or receipt identifies the opportunity. Owner, Reviewer and uploaded by each refer to team members; team members.User refers to Users. The opportunity Revision and design RFP Revision are the versions checked by guarded actions.

Migration order

  1. Create Organizations and confirm currency and time zone.
  2. Map Users and team members to the right organization.
  3. Import Accounts and check client codes and contacts.
  4. Import Opportunities with owner and counterparty references.
  5. Add design RF ps and relationship activities under the correct opportunity.
  6. Attach record attachments, review decisions and operation receipts with their original parent references and source dates.
