Opportunity qualification and proposal

Move a funding opportunity from New through qualification to Proposal with a recorded activity. The team should begin with a real constituent, follow the named records and inspect the resulting evidence after each action. Keep the owner of each step visible so a status change does not hide who made the decision.

Step by step

  1. Opportunity qualification Relationship Manager

Relationship Manager runs Qualify Opportunity on a New case. The workflow logs a qualification activity, changes the opportunity to Qualified and writes an operation receipt.

    • Status: New → Qualified with activity and receipt
    • Updates Funding opportunities, Constituent follow ups, Operation receipts
  2. Funding case Proposal Coordinator

Proposal Coordinator adds the funding items, quantity and unit amount to the opportunity. Link a program where it belongs.

    • Describe the actual ask
    • Updates Funding case lines, Funding programs, Funding opportunities
  3. Proposal submission Proposal Coordinator

Proposal Coordinator prepares the case before qualification completes. Qualified status triggers Submit Proposal, which logs an email activity, moves the case to Proposal and writes an operation receipt. Confirm external delivery separately.

    • Status: Qualified → Proposal with email activity and receipt
    • Updates Funding opportunities, Constituent follow ups, Operation receipts
