Who it's for

Tutoring businesses

A tutoring business may work with schools and families at the same time. Both relationships can have an account, contacts and an owned opportunity. The account describes whom the team serves; the opportunity describes the proposed work and expected value. Activities keep calls and emails connected to the right prospective engagement.

How Schools/Tutoring CRM is set up for you

Make ownership explicit

Assign each opportunity to a Team Member and record the primary contact, so an inquiry can move between staff without losing its context.

Describe the service

Products can hold reusable offerings, while opportunity lines record the item name, quantity and unit price proposed for a particular customer.

Review completed work

Tutoring Sessions hold the date, tutor, enrollment quantity and session reference. Review Decisions and Operation Receipts let Operations Coordinator trace the approval.

A tutoring business may work with schools and families at the same time. Both relationships can have an account, contacts and an owned opportunity. The account describes whom the team serves; the opportunity describes the proposed work and expected value. Activities keep calls and emails connected to the right prospective engagement.

Choose one school and one family account. Give each a contact and a separate opportunity, even if the same Tutor will ultimately deliver the service. The Account Owner can qualify both opportunities, send a proposal and record the different buyer responses. Follow up with a due activity for the open case. For a won case, create a session draft, attach a supporting note and send it through independent review.

Before expanding, agree how a service line's quantity is interpreted. A block of sessions should be named differently from a learner count. Agree which staff role owns customer follow-ups and which role checks session evidence. The Account Owner and Tutor may be different people; the opportunity and session each have their own owner reference. Use the receipt trail when a workflow action needs investigation rather than relying only on a verbal status update.
