Submit a proposal

The proposal process turns a qualified opportunity into an offer the Account Owner can discuss with the school or family. The lines describe what is being offered. The Account Owner sends the offer through the agreed channel; the submission workflow logs an email activity and changes the stage.

Step by step

  1. Scope prepared Account Owner

The Account Owner checks the account, primary contact and expected decision date on the qualified opportunity.

    • Confirms buyer and opportunity context
    • Updates Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts
  2. Lines priced Account Owner

The owner adds item names, quantities and unit prices to the opportunity. A reusable product can be linked where it fits.

    • Describes quantity and price
    • Updates Opportunity lines, Products
  3. Proposal sent Account Owner

The Account Owner sends the offer through the agreed channel, then runs Submit Proposal to log the email activity, move the opportunity to Proposal and write an operation receipt.

    • Records email, Proposal stage and receipt
    • Updates Opportunities, Relationship activities, Operation receipts
  4. Follow-up planned Account Owner

The owner sets the next customer action and a due activity so a sent offer does not disappear from review.
