Keys and references

Preserve source identifiers during import. Most records use Id; exchange rates uses ID. The opportunity record number and account and organization codes give the team readable identifiers. Users.User is a self-reference that needs an explicit identity mapping.

Keep the account, owner and follow-up commitment inside the opportunity’s authorized organization. Follow-up responsibility follows follow up commitments.Parent to Opportunities.Owner and the member’s team members.User identity. Review decisions and operation receipts also reference the opportunity, so their operation identity and effect references must distinguish the particular commitment being reviewed from other work on the same parent.

Migration order

  1. Establish Users and Organizations, including user references and operating time zones.
  2. Load team members and Accounts with their organization references and active states.
  3. Establish the governed exchange rates source where needed, preserving read-only ownership.
  4. Load Opportunities, then relationship activities and follow up commitments with their parent references.
  5. Import record attachments, review decisions and operation receipts with their original revisions, dates and source identities intact.
