Connections

Agree which systems deliver messages, hold documents and carry work beyond the reviewed sales outcome.

  • Small Business CRM
  • Email and meeting tools
  • Document services
  • Delivery and order systems
  • Accounting systems

Systems to connect

  • Email and meeting tools. If customer interactions are imported from another tool, agree how they become attributable activities against the correct opportunity and how the actual communication result is identified.
  • Document services. Configure the source or delivery path for proposal files and customer evidence. Agree file visibility, source identity and the confirmation that supports a completion claim.
  • Delivery and order systems. Where accepted customer work continues elsewhere, map the reviewed opportunity to the receiving system and define which result establishes its own completed effect.
  • Accounting systems. Agree any connection that creates downstream financial work from the reviewed sales outcome. Retain the receiving system’s authority over its records and any later correction.

How connections are governed

Assign responsibility for each connection and identify which system owns the result. Agree the record mappings, authorized actors and evidence required when an operation receipt includes an external reference. The reviewer should obtain the authoritative source result before confirming that the expected effect matches.

Rehearse a repeated request and an uncertain response before extending the pilot. A local correction must preserve the original source identity and must not automatically reverse an externally controlled effect. Use correction and reconciliation to keep the original action and later adjustment understandable.
