Correction and receipt reconciliation

Separate unfinished scope from accepted effects and compare receipts with evidence before recording completion.

Step by step

  1. Request a reasoned correction Service Agent

The owning Service Agent identifies the ticket scope requiring correction or cancellation and records the reason. Read the current revision and related events, decisions, receipts and support links before choosing the response.

    • Identify the affected scope and current history
    • Updates Tickets, Ticket events, Account support links
  2. Separate executed scope Service Supervisor

Service Supervisor reviews the distinction between unexecuted draft work and accepted effects. Eligible unfinished scope can be cancelled through its owning process. Executed scope requires the reviewed response agreed for that action; preserve the earlier evidence while preparing it.

    • Distinguish unfinished work from accepted effects
    • Updates Tickets, Review decisions, Operation receipts, Account support links
  3. Compare receipt evidence Service Supervisor

Service Supervisor investigates pending or failed receipts by reading the expected scope, identity, quantities and revision against linked effects. Reconciliation examines what already happened and does not repeat an external execution.

    • Compare the expected operation with linked evidence
    • Updates Operation receipts, Tickets, Account support links, Record attachments
  4. Record the reconciliation result Service Supervisor

Matching expected effects support completion. A discrepancy is retained with its evidence and marked for review. The responsible reviewer should be able to explain the result from the ticket history and receipt.

    • Mark supported completion or retain needs review
    • Updates Operation receipts

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • Accepted history erased. A correction should preserve the earlier effect and its evidence while the team decides how to address it.
  • Investigation repeats the action. Reconciliation must not execute the customer action again merely to discover whether it previously succeeded.
  • Status replaces evidence. Completed needs matching effects; unresolved differences need a visible review result and owner.
