Customer to assigned ticket

Confirm the customer and organization, then route a specific support problem to its accountable owner.

Step by step

  1. Confirm customer context App Administrator or Service Agent

App Administrator maintains the customer code, contact details and eligibility note within the correct organization. Service Agent selects the customer for the reported problem and confirms that the request belongs within the authorized scope.

    • Establish the customer and membership context
    • Updates Customers, Organizations, Team members
  2. Prepare the ticket Service Agent

Service Agent records the ticket number and subject with the intended owner, priority rank and resolution due date. Choose values that follow the agreed service policy and make the next operating action understandable to the assigned person.

    • Record the customer problem, owner and due date
    • Updates Tickets, Customers, Team members
  3. Route the request Service Agent

Service Agent invokes the guarded routing action. It validates the ticket, routes the work and appends evidence with a stable receipt. Configure the permitted progression through New, Triaged and Assigned before using the process for the pilot.

    • Validate routing and retain its evidence and receipt
    • Updates Tickets, Operation receipts, Ticket events
  4. Confirm owned work Service Agent or Service Supervisor

Service Agent checks the recorded result in My Tickets. Service Supervisor reviews the broader authorized queue and confirms that the owner and due date reflect the intended handoff. Equivalent replay returns the earlier routing result.

    • Review assignment and the recorded operation result
    • Updates Tickets, Operation receipts

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • Ambiguous customer identity. Similar names across organizations need a code and scope check before a ticket is prepared.
  • Unclear ownership. A selected team member must resolve to the account that will actually carry the work.
  • Duplicate requests. A delayed routing response should lead to a receipt check and supported replay, rather than another copy of the ticket.
