Put an AI agent to work in CRM

A CRM assistant can summarize an account, draft a follow-up or explain why a deal needs review. The specification describes these uses; the application and service actions must be configured and verified before an assistant can work on customer data.

Set it up

  1. Teach your agent ERP.AI

Load the ERP.AI skill and paste the output into your agent. It explains how to read and update records in your workspace.

    curl -fsSL https://www.erp.ai/skill.md
  2. Give it a role

Assign the agent its own user and one of the 8 roles. It gets exactly the access that role has, and no more.

  3. Check what it can reach

Confirm which records, actions and connections the agent can use in your workspace before you point it at real data.

  4. Review its work and usage

Check the drafts and changes it proposes, and watch its usage receipts as you give it more to do. Agent work uses prepaid credits.

What the agent can do

  • Sales Rep: Summarizes account activity, prepares next steps and drafts an offer using the approved product and price basis.
  • Sales Manager: Finds stalled opportunities, explains changes since the last forecast and prepares the commercial terms that need review.
  • Sales Ops' assistant: Identifies duplicate records, routing exceptions and incomplete commission evidence.
  • Marketing Manager: Prepares campaign audiences and content under the agreed release policy.

What stays with a person

  • Required human decisions remain with the accountable role.
  • An assistant cannot turn a preparation task into qualification, commercial approval, technical exception approval or commission payout authorization.
  • It cannot use broad access to expose another rep’s pay, bypass a communication preference or reuse an old signature after terms change.
  • Uncertain sends and payouts need reconciliation before another request can create an additional effect.
