Venues and bookable resources
A venue or reservable resource has the same core question as a room: is the requested interval available, and can the resource serve the number of places requested? The booking gives Front Desk Agent the member and dates; the session gives Property Manager the type, capacity and current state. Both must be checked before a confirmation is treated as a commitment.

Both must be checked before a confirmation is treated as a commitment.
Choose a small group of resources with clear capacities and one booking policy. Enter several overlapping and nonoverlapping requests so Property Manager can test the confirmation decision. Decide who changes a session from in progress to cleaning and who accepts the inspection before open status returns. Where a resource needs maintenance, leave it visibly unavailable while the issue is addressed.
Take one confirmed booking through arrival, a service task and completion. Finance Officer records a described charge on that booking and compares it with a confirmed receipt. The team checks the resulting resource state before accepting the next request. If an extra activity is offered, attach its booking to the same original reservation and decide how its charge enters the account. Keeping this pilot narrow makes disputes about dates, capacity and amounts easy to trace to the working record.
