What you can do
Run the operating work
An analyst receives a request to move a defined US dollar amount between provider-held account scopes. The analyst selects the organization and eligible counterparty, records a subject and requested date, and identifies the owner. Debit and credit lines name the trading accounts and amounts involved. The team checks that the account scope is balanced and that the counterparty belongs to the same operating organization before sending the current instruction revision for review.
How the work is organized
- Prepare the request. Operations Analyst records the instruction owner, counterparty, requested amount and debit or credit account lines.
- Hand off a revision. The reviewer checks the current request; a changed amount or account scope needs another decision on the new revision.
- Track the result. The analyst records the provider identifier and follows the evidence and receipt until the outcome is known.
What to agree during setup
Agree how a record number is assigned, which account identifiers are authoritative, and how the team determines that the debit and credit lines describe the intended provider action. Decide who owns provider communication after authorization. A change to amount or account scope should produce a new revision for review; an older decision cannot silently authorize a changed request.
Check the handoff on an actual case
Walk an instruction from Draft to Review. Have the Independent Finance Reviewer approve the current revision, then record the provider instruction identifier when it is submitted. Compare the provider response with the intended amount and account scope. If the response is still uncertain, leave the instruction pending and investigate using the original provider reference and operation receipt. The case should retain the request, decision and response for later inspection.
Use the same record number throughout the rehearsal. First balance the debit and credit lines, then change one amount after the review decision. The earlier approval stays associated with the earlier revision. If the provider gives only an acknowledgment, keep the request in the open response queue and compare its provider identifier with the original receipt before taking any further action.
What your team sees
- Draft instructions — Find requests still being prepared before a review handoff.
- Authorized for submission — Check approved requests and their provider identifiers before the next step.
- Provider response pending — Follow submitted or pending requests until evidence establishes the result.
Follow the work through
See instruction review and provider reconciliation for the full handoff. Implementation sets out the pilot sequence.
