What you can do
Run the operating work
An organization appoints an operations analyst and an independent finance reviewer to run a provider instruction pilot. App Administrator records the organization, active members and eligible counterparty, including its contact and eligibility note. The counterparty owns the provider-held trading account. Membership and account ownership give the team the context needed to route work and prevent a record from drifting across organizations.
How the work is organized
- Set the boundary. App Administrator maintains the organization identity, time zone and team membership used to scope instruction work.
- Keep parties eligible. The administrator records counterparty ownership and checks its active status and eligibility note.
- Separate decisions. The finance reviewer’s decision right is distinct from membership administration and instruction preparation.
What to agree during setup
Agree which organization code, time zone and currency govern the operating cycle. Keep user membership and reviewer entitlement separate: an administrator maintaining a team member cannot grant themselves independent approval through a routine record edit. Decide who may change a counterparty from active to inactive and how pending instructions are handled when that eligibility changes.
Check the handoff on an actual case
Have an analyst prepare a request under the pilot organization, then try to inspect or change a different organization’s request. Confirm the intended boundary. Inactivate a counterparty with a pending instruction and check the handoff before any further provider action. Let an auditor read the retained decision and evidence while denying edits. Preserve the historic party identity on completed cases.
For a second organization, use a different member and counterparty. An analyst assigned to the pilot organization should work only with its instructions. Check the counterparty’s active status before a new request and retain the old party reference on historical instructions. If a reviewer changes organizations, inspect the current membership before asking that person to decide another case.
The team member record also carries a user link and time zone. Check the user link when an analyst says a case is missing from their scope. A name alone is insufficient to establish who prepared a request or who is allowed to review it.
