Prepare the first operating cycle

Choose one service with a named owner and a small set of assets whose tags can be checked on the floor. Bring the rack labels, power measurements and port naming used by the technicians. Prepare an example incident, a submitted request and a change with a real planned window. Name the Request Coordinator who will decide request approval, the Change Manager who will check plans and the technicians who will record physical work.

Review before release

Check that the incident keeps its service and asset links through triage, that request delivery starts only after approval and that an incomplete change stays in review. Submit one valid and one invalid rack or cable observation and read the result with the technician. Invite the pilot team under the agreed roles, then have the Service Manager accept the records and access behavior before extending the scope.
