How a GST Return Preparation — India rollout works
Set up organization scope, provider identity and the first reviewed cycle.
Define scope
Choose the first organization, active counterparties and provider accounts. Assign an Accounting Preparer, an independent Accounting Reviewer and an Auditor.
Prepare records
Preserve instruction numbers, external account IDs and source event IDs. Load opening account snapshots with their as-of dates.
Rehearse decisions
Prepare an instruction with balanced debit and credit entries, submit a revision for review and record an independent decision.
Check provider effect
Capture a provider reference, confirmation evidence and a source movement. Reconcile the exact date and amount against the confirmed instruction.
Review exceptions
Repeat the cycle with a changed revision, unmatched movement and operation receipt whose claimed effect is absent.
What the customer provides
The team supplies organization membership, eligible counterparties, provider account identifiers, the chosen provider evidence source and the people authorized to prepare and review. Bring representative instruction, statement, confirmation, balance snapshot and application records for the pilot. Agree which provider acknowledgement counts as completion.
Changing it afterwards
Retain prior decisions and provider evidence when correcting an instruction. Recheck a changed revision before another approval. Test provider mappings and reviewer access again whenever a new organization, counterparty or account is added.
