Systems to connect
- Source control and CI. Map commit, branch, run time, result and service into pipeline run records.
- Deployment infrastructure. Map environment, version, deployment time and outcome into Deployments.
- Incident intake. Establish how a new issue identifies its service, priority and assignee before response begins.
- Provider events. Store provider, external event ID, receipt time, payload hash and processing status in integration receipts.
How connections are governed
Agree which external system owns each event before configuring an import or connector. Check that repeated events retain a stable external identifier and that rejected or failed receipts remain visible for investigation. Use the provider and external event ID to find the source event before relating a receipt to operational work. A provider result should not be translated into a healthy deployment or resolved incident until the responsible team has reviewed the corresponding operational record.
