How a E-commerce + CRM + Analytics + Support rollout works
Start with a small sales and retention cycle, then broaden the customer book.
Set ownership
Define organization codes, active staff, sales owners and the independent retention reviewer. Decide what an account represents for the team.
Prepare references
Bring in current accounts, contacts and products. Check the customer and product records against a small set of known cases.
Rehearse sales work
Open representative opportunities, add item lines, qualify one, submit a proposal and close won and lost cases. Inspect activity and operation receipts after each action.
Rehearse retention
Draft a follow-up from a customer opportunity, submit it, have another person review it and record the later customer activity.
Review the operating book
Compare pipeline, due activities, submitted follow-ups and receipt exceptions with the people who own those decisions.
What the customer provides
Provide a clean account and contact list, current product details, named sales and retention owners, and examples of a typical won and lost customer discussion. Define the source of any external order reference used on a follow-up. Give the reviewer a concrete rule for approving customer contact and tell the team what a useful rejection reason should contain.
Changing it afterwards
Review account status conventions, activity outcomes and follow-up purposes after the first cycle. Change permissions with the people accountable for sales and retention decisions. Keep old operation receipts and review decisions attached to their source records so a later correction does not erase what happened.
