The reporting workspace starts with accepted customer demand and follows its outcome. Fill rate compares accepted units with shipped units by order cohort, channel and SKU. Cancelled quantities remain visible so cancelling an overdue balance cannot silently improve the result. Backorder age shows the uncovered quantity, responsible planner and next review date.
The report definitions need a declared cohort date, timezone and treatment of reopened orders. Implementation should preserve those definitions with the report configuration. Comparing different definitions across channels would otherwise produce a plausible chart with an unclear operational meaning. The report reference lists the questions and source boundaries.
Promise reliability compares evidenced delivery with both the first accepted customer date and the latest agreed date. The original commitment remains immutable. A revised promise can be useful for daily follow-up without rewriting whether the original date was met. Missing tracking evidence stays unknown rather than counting as on time or late without support.
Cycle time is also separated into stages. Source acceptance, commercial release, warehouse dispatch and delivery answer different questions. A payment-risk hold should be visible as a delay before release; a warehouse queue belongs after acceptance. Unfinished orders remain in the open population and do not disappear from attention because they lack a final timestamp.
Split Shipment Cost groups dispatches under the same customer order and uses actual carrier costs only when a configured source supplies them. It helps the operations team compare location choices and partial fulfilment decisions. Missing costs remain unreported, and currencies must stay separate unless an explicitly configured exchange-rate source supplies a reviewable conversion.
Return Reasons and Disposition keeps authorised, received and inspected quantities distinct. A requested return may never arrive. A received item may be quarantined while finance is still reviewing its refund. The report should preserve those different states so inventory and finance can act on their own unresolved work.
Refund Exposure includes approved, sending and unknown refunds against verified captured money. A timeout remains exposure until the payment provider confirms the outcome. Channel Reconciliation identifies missing source orders and conflicting identities. Stock Commitment Reconciliation compares authority snapshots with reservations and pending dispatch debits.
These reports link to the underlying records and their evidence. A total alone is insufficient for resolving a discrepancy. Reconciliation owners record the source window and cursor, inspect mismatches, and retain the resolution receipt. Repeated source extracts must not double-count an already recorded shipment or payment event.
