How a E-signature Platform rollout works

Pilot a packet from preparation through verified signer evidence.

  1. Agree the packet boundary

Name the document source, signing provider, packet owner and reviewer. Decide which organization owns the record.

  2. Map records

Bring in organizations, people and templates before packets. Preserve original packet revisions, provider references, decisions and signer events.

  3. Configure a bounded pilot

Use one document type and one signing definition. Rehearse preparation, review, sending and a verified signer event.

  4. Rehearse exceptions

Return a revision for correction, send a duplicate event and investigate an unknown provider attempt. Confirm the prior receipt and decision remain visible.

  5. Review and release

Compare the pilot packet with the provider envelope and signed evidence. Check role access and obtain the named owners' acceptance.

What the customer provides

  • Document types, signing policy and template ownership.
  • Organizations, people, packet owners and reviewers.
  • Provider event identity, envelope references and receipt format.
  • Existing packet revisions, review decisions and correction history for migration.

Changing it afterwards

Use Proto to prepare configuration changes for review. A changed template or provider mapping should be tested on a new packet revision. Keep earlier decisions and signed evidence attached to their original revisions. Rehearse the failed and duplicate event cases again before the new configuration is used.
