Exception reconciliation

Read the recorded effects, investigate discrepancies and authorize only the required correction.

Step by step

  1. Locate the original attempt Dispatcher

    • Updates Operation receipts, Loads
  2. Compare the effects Transport Supervisor

Transport Supervisor checks linked local effects against the authoritative source. Unresolved failed outcomes become Needs review with the discrepancy retained. The reconciliation check reads and compares evidence without repeating the external action.

  4. Retain the resolution Dispatcher

Dispatcher follows the authorized correction and retains its compensating receipt beside the original evidence. Only unexecuted scope is cancelled. Transport Supervisor checks the resulting evidence; Auditor can trace the original action and later decision without losing the earlier outcome.

    • Preserve original evidence and the compensating outcome

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • An uncertain response triggers another action. Look for the existing operation outcome before doing more work.
  • Cancellation erases physical movement. Retain pickup and earlier evidence. Restrict cancellation to the unexecuted scope established by review.
  • A discrepancy loses its source reference. Keep enough information for the supervisor to resume the investigation with the authoritative provider.
