What you can do
Scenario review in daily work
A repayment scenario is a distinct record linked to a loan application and organization. The Credit Officer can keep its scenario text, principal, revision and calculation date together. Submission and decision statuses make the review trail readable without folding a scenario into the application’s status.
A scenario carries its own text, principal, revision and status, yet remains linked to the application and organization. Credit Officer prepares it for an independent decision. Independent Credit Approver checks the submitted revision against the parent request. The team keeps a rejected scenario alongside a later one so the provider instruction can be traced to the reviewed version.
How the work is organized
- Tie it to the request. Check the scenario parent and organization before submission.
- Identify the version. Keep the scenario revision and principal with the text under review.
- Record the decision. Leave a dated outcome and the parent application decision trail.
What to agree during setup
Agree the origin of scenario figures and the evidence needed before submission. Decide who may prepare the scenario and who makes the independent decision. Keep each scenario tied to its parent application and organization; the reviewer should see the exact revision and principal under consideration.
Agree who supplies the scenario figures and which source the approver should inspect. The scenario text and recorded principal are review material; decide how to check them before a provider instruction is prepared. Rehearse a changed application principal so an older scenario cannot be treated as approval of a new request.
Check the handoff on an actual case
For a borrower with a revised requested principal, enter a scenario against the current application and submit it. Check the parent, organization, principal and scenario text before the reviewer decides. Record the decision date and outcome. A rejected scenario stays visible beside a later approved one so the team can explain which version informed the provider instruction.
Have the Independent Credit Approver compare the scenario with the current parent application and the decision already recorded there. The Credit Officer should find the submitted scenario in the review list, then see its dated result. If the parent request changes, create a new review trail for the changed proposal.
