How a Energy Trading Platform rollout works

Pilot an instruction, provider response and account reconciliation.

  1. Set scope

Choose the first organization, its team members, active counterparty and trading account. Agree the account and provider identifiers.

  2. Prepare records

Load an instruction with account rows and an assigned owner. Check the requested amount and revision.

  3. Rehearse review

Have a different person approve or reject the submitted revision and retain the reason.

  4. Check external evidence

Connect the provider response, then compare its reference, amount and date with the instruction.

  5. Reconcile and inspect

Use a dated snapshot and movement item to test an exact match, a discrepancy and an uncertain receipt.

What the customer provides

Provide the organization’s operating rules, counterparty eligibility, account identifiers, provider contact and representative statement or confirmation samples. Name the people who prepare instructions, make independent decisions and investigate provider exceptions. Choose a real pilot case with a correction or rejection that can be rehearsed safely.

Changing it afterwards

When a new provider or account is added, check its references and access scope before import. Rehearse any change to the review path against a prior instruction and a new revision. Keep older decisions, provider evidence and receipt references attached to the cases that produced them.
