How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Environmental Conservation for your business. Pilot one site, a surveyed boundary and a planned restoration cycle with a reviewed field task.

Can we keep more than one survey for a site?

Yes. Habitat records carry the linked site, survey date, geometry and measured area. Keep each dated capture available when comparing boundaries.

How are field tasks assigned?

Each task links a site, restoration cycle and named person, with task type, due date and status. The manager reviews planned work before approval.

Can operators see their own work?

Use the Field Tasks by Assignee view to locate approved and ongoing work by named person. Test access with a linked user and person account during setup.

What is the difference between an observation and a finding?

An observation is a dated site scouting measure with notes. A finding belongs to a restoration cycle and carries the quantity, unit, condition and accepting person used for review.

How is treatment use traced?

A use record links a stock lot to the field task and records the consumed quantity and date. A site application separately names the applicator and treatment at the site.

Can we track stock expiry?

The stock lot records expiry, unit and quantity on hand. The custodian checks those values before approving material for field work.

Can we import existing site data?

Prepare stable site identities, survey dates, boundary geometry, people and units. Rehearse a small import and inspect its links before adding more sites.

Who decides a finding is accepted?

The named Finding Reviewer checks the linked cycle, recorded date, quantity, unit and condition, then records their acceptance through the person reference.

What drives the cost?

Review the current pricing page for ordinary work and metered agent, import or integration activity. Scope implementation around the sites and field processes you plan to use.
