A ceramics distributor can buy stocked products, receive them into a warehouse, reserve eligible quantity for a customer order and record partial dispatch and delivery outcomes. The customer promise remains visible beside the actual route and visit history.
Start with one purchasing supplier, one customer and one warehouse. Test a partial receipt, then an order delivered in parts. Check that remaining stock, open order quantity and invoice eligibility agree after a return. Keep the original customer promise beside each delivery result.
Have the Warehouse Manager compare the picked quantity with the quantity actually dispatched. After the visit, the Sales Manager can review the refused portion against the accepted order. The Accountant should bill only the quantity whose title has passed under that order's agreed rule.
Bring a real purchase or order with its original source identifiers and decision owner. Prepare the product unit, customer or supplier trading details, opening stock and financial basis that case needs. Make the first exception part of the rehearsal: a short receipt, partial delivery or disputed amount will show whether the handoffs are clear.
Review the relevant [modules](/erp-for-ceramics/data-model) with operations and finance together. Agree on who may prepare a record, who makes the independent decision and which evidence is needed before an actual movement or posting. A staged rollout can add more locations and entities after the first cycle reconciles.
