Ceramic makers
A ceramic maker can receive a customer order, release a work order against an active bill of materials and routing, record material issue and operation output, then deliver accepted finished goods. The production and stock records retain the legal entity and warehouse where the work happens.
How Ceramics ERP is set up for you
Made output
Keep the product, approved recipe, component quantities and accepted completion linked.
Input supply
Receive purchased material in reviewed tranches and carry rejected portions separately.
Finished stock
Preserve location, lot and carrying value as output moves toward delivery.

Pilot one active product, one supplier input, one work order and one customer order. Agree on base units, standard cost, who records operation evidence and who approves variance. Reconcile component usage, completion and available output before adding more products.
The Warehouse Operator should record actual input issues and the finished quantity at the terminal operation. The Warehouse Manager can compare that evidence with the planned quantity before accepting output. Ask the Accountant to trace work in progress and any variance to the same work order.
Bring a real purchase or order with its original source identifiers and decision owner. Prepare the product unit, customer or supplier trading details, opening stock and financial basis that case needs. Make the first exception part of the rehearsal: a short receipt, partial delivery or disputed amount will show whether the handoffs are clear.
Review the relevant [modules](/erp-for-ceramics/data-model) with operations and finance together. Agree on who may prepare a record, who makes the independent decision and which evidence is needed before an actual movement or posting. A staged rollout can add more locations and entities after the first cycle reconciles.
