How a Chemicals ERP rollout works
Configure a pilot operating cycle, reconcile it and expand by entity and team.
Confirm ownership
Name the people who prepare and independently decide customer, purchase, warehouse and finance work.
Load controlled masters
Set entity, users, products, units, parties, terms, warehouses, locations, policies and rates.
Reconcile opening work
Bring in stock and open financial balances at one cutoff with source identities.
Run a pilot cycle
Quote, approve, receive, pick, deliver, invoice and apply cash on a real representative case.
Review exceptions
Repeat with a partial receipt, partial delivery, return, transfer and count variance.
What the customer provides
Provide current product and party records, warehouse locations, approved terms and prices, legal entities, finance cutoff balances, decision owners and examples of source documents. Choose the first dealer and supplier case with enough variation to expose partial quantities and a genuine review decision. The team must agree who can approve each gate before release.
Changing it afterwards
Review a material master or policy change as a new version. Keep posted movements and financial documents linked to their original sources, using correction records when needed. Rehearse access after changing assignments and reconcile reports after any migration or integration change.
