Keys and references
Use each source record’s own identity and entity. Follow order lines to reservations, delivery lines and invoice allocations; follow purchase lines to arrivals, acceptance and supplier bills. Physical stock changes carry stock events. Human decisions are separate records tied to the revision and action they authorize. Keep source keys and reversal links when correcting posted work.
Migration order
- Load entities, currencies, users, authority rules and fiscal periods.
- Load customers, suppliers, products, units, prices, cost standards and warehouses.
- Reconcile opening stock by entity, product, lot, location and custody.
- Bring in open commitments and financial balances with source identity.
- Test approvals, partial receipt, delivery, cash and close before broader migration.
