How a Dairy ERP rollout works
Begin with a bounded distribution cycle and expand after reconciliation.
Define ownership
Choose the legal entity, warehouse, trading accounts and who prepares and approves each document.
Set up masters
Review products, units, price lists, suppliers, dealers, posting profiles and policy versions.
Rehearse the cycle
Buy a product, accept a partial receipt, reserve stock for a dealer order, dispatch and invoice the eligible portion.
Reconcile
Match the supplier bill, apply actual customer cash, compare bank evidence and review close tasks.
Expand
Add locations, routes, assembly work and further entities only after the sample balances.
What the customer provides
Provide the account owners, current product and pack list, dealer and supplier terms, warehouse locations, opening balances and the people authorized to decide exceptions. Agree which external bank and delivery evidence will be connected.
Changing it afterwards
Use reviewed versions for policy, price, product unit and cost changes. Keep accepted documents and posted events attached to their original basis. Rehearse corrections against an existing order before changing live rules.
