Keys and references

Retain external order key and external revision on channel orders when importing updates. Channel products links an external SKU to Products within a Channel; channel order lines keep that SKU and their mapping status. Preserve transaction key on payment transactions and the linked settlement line. Keep Entity, Warehouse, Currency and Product references intact through the order, stock and finance cycle. Never use a display title as the only import key.

Migration order

  1. Load Currencies, Entities, Users, units of measure, Warehouses and Locations.
  2. Load Stores, Channels, Products, channel products, channel listings, Accounts, contact persons and Suppliers.
  3. Load inventory positions and opening stock movements, then reconcile available quantity by entity and warehouse.
  4. Load open channel orders and channel order lines, sales orders and sales order lines, purchase orders and purchase order lines.
  5. Load goods receipts, reservations, picks, fulfillments, returns, invoices and processor transactions with their original links.
  6. Reconcile line quantities, outstanding invoice amounts and settlement variances before expanding the operating scope.
