How a FMCG ERP rollout works

Set up entity rules and rehearse the full dealer operating cycle.

  1. Define scope

Pick an entity, warehouse, dealers, products and representative purchasing and delivery cases.

  2. Configure authority

Set users, role access, approval limits, policies, currencies and fiscal periods.

  3. Prepare masters

Review product units, prices, supplier terms, locations, bills of material and standard costs used in the pilot.

  4. Reconcile openings

Load stock and financial balances at an agreed cutoff with traceable source identities.

  5. Rehearse work

Run a partial purchase receipt, dealer order, route delivery, invoice, cash application and return.

  6. Release in stages

Review exceptions and evidence before adding more warehouses or entities.

What the customer provides

Provide dealer and supplier identities, product and lot data, warehouse locations, approved prices and terms, opening balances, authority owners and a sample of real documents. Name the person who can resolve each exception during the pilot.

Changing it afterwards

Treat material changes to pricing, cost, route or authority as reviewed new versions. Preserve completed documents and post linked corrections when actual work differs. Rehearse the changed path with the same owners before applying it to live transactions.
