Packaged food manufacturers
A production plan can look ready while ingredients await inspection or the required packaging has changed. Food & Beverage ERP helps packaged-food teams connect their recipes, material availability and batch work with quality decisions and customer orders. Each team can follow the same production history through storage and delivery.
How Food & Beverage ERP is set up for you
Prepare the right version
Keep the approved recipe, pack format and relevant product specifications together before releasing work. A changed ingredient or label needs the appropriate review, with existing batches retaining the version they actually used. Preparation can then reflect the current order and production plan.
Know what is available
Separate goods on the shelf from quantities eligible for use. Quality holds, expiry, opened-life rules and other reservations affect what production can consume. A partial release leaves the rest of the affected lot under its existing restrictions.
Follow actual production
Record the ingredient lots and packaging used, actual process work and accepted output. Compare yield using the appropriate measurement basis. Packaging counts and ingredient weights keep their own reconciliations so a convenient total cannot hide an unexplained difference.
Coordinate product release
Give quality staff the applicable results, deviations and production evidence for review. Physically accepted output can remain held stock while that work is completed. Releasing it changes eligibility without creating the output or its inventory value again.
Deliver suitable lots
Check current release status and the customer’s remaining-life requirement when allocating and handing over goods. A delivery-date change can affect suitability. Actual shipment history remains available when customer service investigates a complaint, replacement or return.
Investigate from the source
Follow ingredient and packaging history into affected batches and deliveries. Keep potential exposure separate from the quantity and value actually on hand. A withdrawal case brings reviewed scope, holds, disposition and recipient-response work together for the responsible people.
