Extended-stay hotels
Longer stays create a different operating rhythm. A guest may extend a booking, decline a scheduled clean or move rooms while the original stay remains open. Hospitality ERP helps the property coordinate that work using current PMS information and clear local responsibilities. It does not turn the hotel workflow into a tenancy or lease-accounting product.
How Hospitality ERP is set up for you
Follow changes to the actual stay
Keep requested extensions and room moves distinct from confirmed PMS outcomes. Preserve the periods already occupied when future plans change. The property calendar and source business date remain explicit, so a revised departure does not rewrite the history used by housekeeping or finance.
Plan service around current instructions
Assign cleaning work with the relevant access and service preferences. Record declined service, missing access or unfinished work with a reason. A task is completed from actual evidence; it does not become complete because the planned date has passed or a new shift has begun.
Separate routine service from turnover
An occupied-room clean and a departure inspection serve different purposes. A supervisor’s readiness decision applies to the current room and turnover evidence. New occupancy information, a reported fault or another active restriction can require fresh review before front desk relies on that local readiness.
Follow replenishment and use
Move amenities, housekeeping supplies and selected food items to the appropriate department with their source quantity and cost. Record actual consumption separately from transfer. An unused return keeps its original history, and date-sensitive items remain subject to the applicable restrictions before they can be used again.
Keep financial changes attached to their source
The PMS supplies actual stay-related charges, deposits and payments. The ERP reviews those events for posting into the company books and reconciliation with settlement evidence. It does not infer revenue from the number of nights or treat a cancellation as proof that money was returned.
