Systems to connect
- Bank. Bring settlement, rejection and return evidence into cash and payment reconciliation.
- Carrier or delivery source. Bring actual dispatch or delivery evidence to the shipment and stop it concerns.
- Document destination. Track the outbound document attempt and its acknowledgment separately from local preparation.
- Existing books. Import opening balances with a reviewed cutoff and stable source identity.
How connections are governed
Integration events record authenticated inbound facts and their original keys. Integration deliveries retain outbound intent, attempt and acknowledgment. A timeout can leave an uncertain result, so reconcile the provider response before retrying an economic action. Give each connection an owner, test duplicates and changed payloads, and check cross-entity scope before posting. Plan the cutover.
