How a Mining ERP rollout works
Configure one representative operating cycle before expanding scope.
Trading foundation
Set up entities, users, materials, units, stockpiles, buyers, suppliers, terms and approval limits.
Opening position
Reconcile stock, open commitments and financial balances at one cutoff.
Operational pilot
Run a supplier receipt, buyer order, stock reservation, load out and partial delivery with the named owners.
Finance pilot
Approve an invoice, match a supplier bill, allocate actual cash and review close tasks.
Wider rollout
Add sites and people after the partial and exception cases reconcile.
What the customer provides
Bring material and unit lists, location ownership, buyer and supplier terms, current open orders, accepted receipts and opening balances. Name the people authorized to approve commercial, stock and finance decisions. Set the title rule and the bank and delivery evidence sources used in the pilot.
Changing it afterwards
Use a new effective master version for price, cost or policy changes. Keep accepted commitments and posted history intact. Test a revised approval limit with a pending case before activating it for the wider team.
