What you can do
Plan a bounded release
The Warehouse Manager plans a route with a coordinator, assigned operator, source stockpile and dated stop sequence. Release needs the assigned operator and usable transport evidence. Load-out tasks connect picked quantity to an approved order line and reservation. Picking alone does not establish dispatch or cost of goods sold.
How the work is organized
- Source. Link every picked quantity to its approved order line and stock reservation.
- Decision. Warehouse Manager releases a route only after operator, stop and transport evidence are ready.
- Evidence. Warehouse Operator records dispatch and each visit result by line, keeping refused or damaged quantities open for review.
Dispatch records the actual quantity, evidence and title rule. A route stop holds the expected visit window and the related dispatch. Each haulage attempt records arrival and completion evidence; results divide its scope into accepted, refused, failed and damaged quantity. Partial delivery can remain open without counting a second visit as another shipment.
What to agree during setup
Agree who records a stop attempt, which evidence establishes actual dispatch and which event transfers title for each order. Review the roles that can prepare, approve and correct the record. Keep the source revision and its later decisions linked for audit.
Check the handoff on an actual case
Rehearse a route carrying two order lines, one accepted and one refused at the same stop. Check that the attempt captures one visit, the line outcomes consume only their own dispatched quantities, and the refused portion remains available for its next authorized step. An invoice should follow the title-transferred portion under the agreed rule.
At one stop, accept one dispatched line and refuse another; inspect both outcomes before any invoice claims transferred quantity. Ask the receiving role to open the source and confirm the remaining quantity, decision and event date. Preserve a linked correction if an earlier event needs to be amended.
Before a route leaves, compare its assigned stop sequence with the loads actually picked. If the operator changes, preserve the original assignment and review the new release authority. The delivery result belongs to the visit and dispatch line, so one stop can contain different outcomes without closing every order line.
What your team sees
- Haulage schedule — Show released routes with their assigned operator and planned dates.
- My load-out tasks — Show the operator’s assigned load tasks and picked quantities.
- Buyer order board — Show the orders whose dispatched portions need follow-up.

What it keeps track of
Data model- Load out tasks
- Actual picked quantities remain exclusively tied to the order and do not post COGS.
- Dispatches
- Actual dispatch and title/delivery state separated for partial deliveries.
- Dispatch lines
- Actual dispatch quantities and current title-transferred/delivered portions.
- Haulage routes
- Manual route/stop sequence and assigned execution; no optimization or live tracking.
- Haulage stops
- Explicit stable sequence and exact order/shipment ownership.
- Haulage attempts
- Actual visit/handoff facts, separate from line outcomes and legal title.
- Haulage results
- Each attempt allocates line outcomes once; one visit may partially deliver many lines.
- Sales order lines
- Bounded accepted quantity/value and retained original promise.
- Stockpile reservations
- Exclusive bounded demand claims through picking and owned transit.
Who uses it
Permissions- Warehouse Manager
- Releases the route and coordinates exceptions.
- Warehouse Operator
- Records picking, dispatch and visit facts.
- Sales Representative
- Follows the buyer commitment.
