- Pulp traders
Pulp traders
A pulp trading team can follow an accepted customer order through supplier purchasing, receipt, warehouse stock and delivery. The records connect the source demand to replenishment without treating a purchase request as approved spend or a supplier arrival as accepted inventory.
How Paper & Pulp ERP is set up for you
Demand-linked buying
A requisition line can retain the source customer order line. Purchasing Manager sees the warehouse and needed date before preparing a supplier commitment.
Supplier control
Purchase orders preserve the approved basis and original promise. A later increase stays within the same approval history and requires review.
Receipt evidence
Warehouse Operator records arrived, accepted, rejected and pending portions. Accepted quantities become the basis for usable stock and bill matching.
Entity books
Customer and supplier invoices, payments and cash applications stay with their legal entity and currency. Finance Manager reviews protected financial decisions.
A pulp trading team can follow an accepted customer order through supplier purchasing, receipt, warehouse stock and delivery. The records connect the source demand to replenishment without treating a purchase request as approved spend or a supplier arrival as accepted inventory.
Choose one entity, one purchasing currency and a manageable group of active products and suppliers. Establish the buying unit and base stock unit for each product. Set the receiving warehouse, supplier terms and who may approve purchase commitments. Walk through one demand-linked requisition, a partially received purchase and a supplier bill matched to the accepted tranche.
Next, ship the resulting stock against the customer order. Compare the purchase remainder, available quantity, delivery result and customer invoice. Leave a deliberately pending receipt line in the rehearsal to ensure the team does not mistake dock arrival for saleable inventory. Then reconcile the supplier obligation with actual payment evidence.
