Keys and references

Keep Id and the relevant human identifier mapped to the original source. Exchange rates uses ID, while Users identifies its user through the User reference. Preserve those differences. Batch release reviews.Batch and stability studies.Batch reference Lots; QA reviewer references People, whose User references Users. Verify the session-identity mapping used for Employees references.

Purchase orders.Vendor references Contacts, while supplier evidence references Suppliers. Map each explicitly. Resolve stock movements.lot number and quality inspections.lot number to the intended Lots record during import. Match batch release reviews.certificate number to Certificates with the correct Lot reference, then reconcile the linked evidence.

Quality inspections.reference type and reference ID identify goods receipt or work order operation context. Keep journal entries.reference type and reference ID bound to the actual posting source. Use the verified platform history route to preserve event attribution and successor evidence when correcting a captured result.

Migration order

  1. Resolve Users and People, then Departments and Employees; map user identity without creating a duplicate person.
  2. Load chart of accounts and accounting periods, Warehouses and Locations, Contacts and Suppliers, then Products and supplier items. Reconcile exchange rates under its read-only ownership.
  3. Load Calendars, work centers and Shifts, followed by Operators, bill of materials, BOM components, Routings and routing operations. Link inspection plans and characteristics after their product and operation targets exist.
  4. Import open purchasing and production records in parent-before-line order. Reconcile opening Inventory, Lots and Reservations separately from commands that create movement or journal effects.
  5. Attach inspection evidence, certificates and holds, then batch release reviews and stability studies with the correct batch and reviewer mappings. Preserve original dates and correction evidence.
  6. Import financial balances with reviewed journal detail and source references, then reconcile payments and customer receipts. Rehearse duplicate events and denied actions before enabling automation.
