How do I get started?
Click Get started, then use Proto to configure ERP for Plastics for your business. Begin with one entity, warehouse, dealer group and a representative order through cash.
Can we quote before accepting an order?
Yes. Prepare a dealer quote with product units, price, tax and expiry, then retain the accepted offer as the order basis.
Who approves a dealer order?
Sales Manager independently reviews the submitted order. Finance Manager reviews a required credit exception.
Can an arrival be partly accepted?
Yes. Record arrived, accepted, rejected and pending quantities separately, then post only eligible accepted stock.
How do transfers appear between warehouses?
The source dispatch and destination receipt are separate events. Stock in transit stays visible until its exact remainder is received.
Can we assemble or repack products?
Use a reviewed BOM, routing, standard cost and released work order to record component use and finished output.
How are deliveries recorded?
Plan a route and stops, then record dispatch and actual attempt results. Partial, failed and refused quantities remain distinct.
When can we invoice a dealer?
Finance Manager approves an invoice against eligible title-transferred and unbilled quantities.
How is cash applied?
Record actual receipt, then allocate only its available unapplied amount to an eligible invoice.
What happens at period close?
Accountant reconciles source tasks and Finance Manager approves the guarded entity close.
