Keys and references

Preserve source record identifiers and resolve each reference before importing dependent records. Domain records use Id; Users requires Email and its User reference. Keep the original import mapping when a display name changes. Development project evidence requires operation key and retains the submission context, outcome and reason.

For My Service Work, resolve the signed-in account through People.User before filtering service requests.assigned to. For a receipt allocation, compare Receipts.Tenant with the tenant reached through Charges.Lease. Finance Officer checks both paths and the remaining amounts before accepting the reconciliation.

Preserve attributed evidence and its event sequence. Import genuine historical results with their existing links and reasons. Agree the monetary basis for budgets, charges and payments before comparing totals.

Migration order

  1. Prepare Users and People with verified account links and active staff identities under agreed setup access.
  2. Import Units and Parties with stable source identities for tenants and buyers.
  3. Import Leases with Unit and Tenant references. Separate Draft and Review work from agreements already Active or Notice before running activation.
  4. Import Charges and Receipts, then receipt allocations under authorized access. Reconcile the historical periods before creating additional rent charges.
  5. Import service requests and unit bookings with their unit, party and staff references resolved.
  6. Import development projects and genuine development project evidence with the correct lease and project links. Rehearse the capture procedure separately from historical imports.
  7. Reconcile source populations and financial totals, then repeat ordinary and rejected cases using the operating team’s accounts.
