How the model is organised

Commercial masters

Entities, Dealers, Suppliers, Products, product units, price lists and payment terms establish who trades, what is sold and which unit and price basis applies.

Demand and supply

Quotes and sales orders retain dealer agreement; Requisitions and purchase orders retain sourcing and authorized spend.

Physical stock

Goods receipts and receipt acceptances establish accepted supply. Inventory positions, stock layers and stock events retain current custody, value and movement source.

Work and delivery

Work orders and production completions add accepted kit output. Deliveries, delivery routes and delivery results distinguish dispatch plans and actual outcomes.

Finance

Customer invoices, supplier invoices, cash receipts, Payments, journal entries and accounting periods connect trade sources to settlement and entity close.

Keys and references

A sales line links the accepted order to fulfillment allocations and shipment lines. A purchase line links the approved supplier commitment to actual receipt lines and bill matches. Every posted stock event retains its source and ledger effect. Entity references prevent balances from different legal owners being merged by a shared physical warehouse. The original transaction remains available when a correction or return is posted.

Migration order

  1. Load entities, currencies, users and reviewed authority and posting configuration.
  2. Load trading parties, products, units, warehouses, locations and active price and cost versions.
  3. Reconcile opening stock, lots and outstanding commercial commitments at one cutoff.
  4. Reconcile open receivables, payables, cash and bank balances against the opening journal.
  5. Validate source keys and balances before applying the migration batch and beginning new transactions.
