Keys and references
Each transaction belongs to its legal Entity. Line records point to their parent document, and inventory positions point to Product, Warehouse and Location. Approval decisions refer to the current reviewed scope, while document revisions retain frozen document content. A stock event’s source identity and journal link let the team trace quantity and value together. Customer and supplier payments retain their own settlement evidence.
Migration order
- Establish Entities, Currencies, units of measure, Users, operating policies and the chart of accounts.
- Activate Products, product units, cost standards, Warehouses, Locations, customers, suppliers and payment terms.
- Reconcile opening stock, receivables, payables and bank balances at one cutoff using migration batches and migration items.
- Bring in open quotes, orders, purchases and work orders with their remaining eligible quantities and original identities.
- Compare the opening journal with detailed balances, then rehearse a current purchase, receipt, order, shipment and settlement.
