How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure ERP for Shipbuilding for your business. Begin with one entity, one warehouse, a customer order and a supplier receipt that can be reconciled end to end.

Can I keep stock for several legal entities at one warehouse?

Yes. The physical warehouse may serve more than one entity, while each inventory position retains its legal owner. Set permitted entities and access before importing stock.

What happens when only part of a supplier delivery is usable?

Warehouse Operator records actual arrival. Warehouse Manager reviews accepted, rejected and pending quantities separately. Only the confirmed accepted portion enters usable stock.

Can a customer order ship in parts?

Yes. Accepted order lines retain original quantity and promise while reservations, shipment allocations, delivery outcomes and invoices record their own partial scope.

When does a shipment become billable?

Billing uses eligible title-transferred quantity. The order’s title rule determines whether that happens at dispatch or upon accepted delivery.

Who approves purchases and customer orders?

Sales Manager decides accepted customer order scope. An eligible independent Purchasing Manager, or Finance Manager when required by authority, reviews a supplier commitment. Decisions attach to the current revision.

How are transfers between warehouses recorded?

A reviewed transfer retains source, destination and owned transit. Actual destination receipts consume only their received portion; remaining transit stays open for reconciliation.

How does assembly affect inventory value?

A released work order traces material, actual operations and WIP costs. An accepted terminal completion adds output at its standard value, with variance shown separately.

What does a failed delivery attempt change?

The visit records its actual failed, refused or damaged outcome. It does not by itself create a return, customer credit or settled invoice.

How are posted mistakes corrected?

Use a reviewed correction or linked reversal with its source and reason. Retain the original posting and reconcile the resulting balance.
