How the model is organised

Dealer trade

Subscribers, subscriber contacts, service quotes, service quote lines, service orders and service order lines keep the account, offer and accepted demand separate.

Supply

Requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts and receipt acceptances connect shortage to actual accepted arrivals.

Stock and work

Service items, inventory positions, inventory reservations, stock events, stock transfers and work orders distinguish item identity, custody and movement.

Delivery

Pick tasks, Shipments, delivery routes, route stops and delivery results retain planning and actual outcomes.

Finance

Invoices, cash receipts, Bills, Payments, journal entries and accounting periods keep commercial documents and posted books linked.

Keys and references

Each document has its own number, revision, entity and source references. Lines carry the quantity that downstream records may consume. Approval decisions hold independent human decisions; document revisions hold frozen document content. Stock events and integration events preserve the economic event and its operation key. Users provide accountable actors while scope controls which entity and warehouse they can work in.

Migration order

  1. Configure Entities, Currencies, Users, distribution policies and approval authority.
  2. Load service items, service item units, service sites, Locations, rate plans, Vendors and Subscribers.
  3. Reconcile opening inventory positions, supplier and customer balances with migration batches.
  4. Bring current service orders, purchase orders and open fulfillment scope into the operating cycle.
  5. Verify journals, bank balances and open accounting periods before posting new activity.
