Dye evidence to release

A finished dyeing operation still needs an evidence review. Agree the evidence-recording owner and Industry Reviewer's release action during setup. Keep the dye job linked to its manufacturing work while the garment team reconciles size requirements separately.

Step by step

  1. Establish the context Industry Reviewer

Industry Reviewer checks the yarn reference, recipe reference, intended shade and associated work order. Identify the physical material with the floor team before the review proceeds.

    • Review yarn identity and work-order context
    • Updates Dye lots, Lots
  2. Examine the test evidence Industry Reviewer

Industry Reviewer examines the colorfastness grade while the dye job is in Testing. Compare the result with the acceptance wording agreed for the pilot product and investigate ambiguous evidence.

    • Compare shade and colorfastness evidence
    • Updates Dye lots
  3. Decide release Industry Reviewer

Industry Reviewer approves release when the agreed shade and colorfastness evidence is acceptable. Keep the dye job Held when the review does not support release, and communicate the consequence to Shop Floor Supervisor.

    • Decide Released or Held under agreed authority
    • Updates Dye lots
ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.
  4. Reconcile garment quantities Industry Specialist

Industry Specialist compares required and completed units for the style, size and color. Use accepted garment output to explain completion and keep the remaining size requirement visible to planning.

    • Explain required and completed style quantities
    • Updates Garment sizes, Products

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • Matching shade without accepted grade. Keep the job under review until the colorfastness evidence also supports the decision.
  • Yarn reference cannot be located. Reconcile the recorded yarn identity with the physical lot before releasing the affected job.
  • Style total hides a size shortage. Inspect each size and color before telling the production team that the style requirement is complete.
