Growing employers
When hiring expands, open positions and requisitions give each vacancy a clear owner. The recruiting record links a candidate to a specific opening, carries interview feedback and keeps the offer separate from the final employee record. HR Business Partner can then check the handoff from accepted salary and start date to the worker's current position and pay calendar.
How ERP + HRMS + Payroll is set up for you
Seat planning
Positions name the department, job title, location, pay grade and headcount behind an opening.
Pipeline
Applications record the stage for a candidate against a requisition; interviews record the recommendation and feedback behind the decision.
Offer review
An offer holds salary, currency, position, start date, status and approving employee for a human check before it is sent.
Start with one department, one open position and one requisition. Agree who reviews the headcount and pay range. Recruiter can enter a candidate, application and interview, while Hiring Manager can inspect the same pipeline. Use a real candidate case to check that an offer's position and salary match the approved seat and grade.
At acceptance, HR Business Partner records the employee with the right manager, location and calendar. Reconcile the offer with the new employee before the first payroll period. A separate hire event gives the team a dated record of the beginning of employment. If an offer is rejected or expires, retain its status rather than treating the application as a hire.
Name the decision makers during rollout. Hiring Manager reviews the pipeline and Recruiter enters recruiting records. Rehearse the requisition and offer decisions with the people who will make them.
