Who it's for

Multi-country teams

A multi-country employer needs to separate payroll calendars, benefits and tax context without losing the common employee identity. Each employee holds an entity, country, currency and payroll calendar. Locations carry tax jurisdictions. Benefit plans and leave types carry country and employee-class settings, while a payroll run points to the calendar for the period.

How ERP + HRMS + Payroll is set up for you

Calendars

A calendar names the entity, country, currency, frequency and cutoff days for a pay group.

Coverage

Benefit plans and enrollments keep country, class, tier and effective dates available during payroll review.

Filing

Tax filings link a jurisdiction and payroll run, with due date, amount, filing state and confirmation reference.

Choose one entity and pay calendar for the pilot. Add a worker with a matching country, currency and location, then check the calendar assignment before preparing pay. Choose the applicable benefit plan and leave type using the worker's employment type and the agreed class mapping. Prepare a run with one pay statement and inspect the tax line's jurisdiction against the location.

After the first period is reconciled, add a second entity and calendar. Repeat the same checks with its currency and pay frequency. Do not infer that one country's rates or filing process fit another: agree the source of those rules with payroll specialists and confirm filing acknowledgements in the relevant authority system.

A transfer across countries needs a dated employment event and a review of current employee references. Payroll Admin should confirm the next run uses the right calendar and statement currency, while HR Business Partner checks the location and benefit eligibility.
