What you can do
Make the fixture the operating anchor
Each fixture records its title, number, responsible team, owner and host venue. Its start and end frame the event, while capacity sets the limit that entry and admission work must respect. A revision gives reviewers a particular version to consider. The custom Fixtures page adds a calendar, capacity strip and admission-hour bars with selected-record detail below the visualization. The native form is the place to enter a draft.
Fixture Coordinator prepares a draft with a responsible owner and eligible venue. Independent Reviewer examines the fixture revision before an approved event opens. The same fixture remains the parent for team entries, admission lines, attachments, reviews, operation receipts and provider evidence. A change to timing, venue or capacity should be discussed with people already working on dependent records.
How the work is organized
- Calendar context. Use the start and end to see fixture commitments at the venue.
- Capacity context. Read entry demand and admission quantities against the fixture’s capacity.
- Revision context. Keep decisions tied to the version the reviewer actually saw.
What to agree during setup
Agree who can prepare a fixture, which reviewer decides it, and when the event may be opened to participants. Confirm the host venue’s contact and eligibility note before scheduling. Decide how the team handles a changed time after entries were submitted; the change should be visible as a revised event rather than silently treated as the original reviewed scope.
Check the handoff on an actual case
For an evening match, enter its start, end, host venue, owner and capacity. Ask a reviewer to read that exact revision, then inspect the approved event in the calendar before opening it. Add one participating team entry and an admission reservation. If the match moves to another venue, check the venue record and the attached entry context before accepting the new plan. At completion, compare admitted quantities and verified provider captures to the local fixture record before closing it.
The selected-record detail on the Fixtures page is useful during a live review because it keeps the chosen event beside its calendar and capacity context. When a coordinator changes the selected team, recheck the owner and venue before taking a guarded action. A venue contact can resolve a scheduling question, but the fixture owner remains accountable for the event record and its status.
