- Who it's for
- Equipment distributors
Equipment distributors
A distributor buying from equipment vendors and selling to operators must know what it owns, what is committed and what has actually left custody.
How EV Charging Network Mgmt is set up for you
Commercial promise
Purchasing Manager compares supplier commitments with accepted operator demand before reserving or replenishing stock.
Owned equipment
Receipt, reservation, custody and transit stay separate, so a partial shipment does not disappear from stock history.
Settlement
Accountant matches a vendor bill to accepted receipts and invoices only eligible customer shipment scope.
A distributor buying from equipment vendors and selling to operators must know what it owns, what is committed and what has actually left custody.
Start with supplier order, accepted receipt and one controlled depot transfer before widening the product catalog. Pick a single organization, a small charger product range and a named decision maker for each approval. Enter a partial or refused outcome as well as a clean delivery. Check that warehouse, commercial and finance teams can all explain the remaining scope without editing the original event. For a supplier case, carry the accepted receipt into bill matching. For a customer case, carry the delivered quantity into invoice approval and confirmed cash application.
Keep the pilot's bank or carrier connection explicit. Agree how actual acknowledgements arrive, how an uncertain response is reconciled, and which owner reviews an exception. Record the organization and time of each event. That gives the team a reliable cutoff when an order, shipment or payment crosses a period boundary.
Before expanding the pilot, review one exception with the person who will own the next decision and trace it to its original order or stock event.
