Charging and fleet readiness

Match a charging session to its actual receipt and review vehicle condition before using the charging result in dispatch.

Step by step

  1. Record the session Charging Coordinator

The Charging Coordinator captures the vehicle identifier, start date, energy and ending state of charge against the load and organization. Keep the current session revision available for review.

    • Prepare Draft session details and submit for review
    • Updates Charging sessions, All loads, Organizations
  2. Verify the receipt Operations Reviewer

The Operations Reviewer compares the Submitted session with an actual charger receipt. Approve eligible evidence or reject the case for correction. Complete the session only after the receipt is matched to the work being closed.

    • Approve or reject evidence and close verified charging work
    • Updates Charging sessions, Record attachments, Review decisions, Operation receipts
ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.
  3. Inspect fleet condition Fleet Technician

The Fleet Technician reviews the vehicle's inspections, open defects and maintenance plans, including EV Battery Check work. Follow any repair with its evidence and release date.

    • Establish the current condition and required service work
    • Updates Vehicles, Inspections, Vehicle defects, Maintenance plans
  4. Resolve readiness for dispatch Operations Reviewer

Where the agreed defect policy requires release, the Operations Reviewer authorizes the eligible outcome after examining the repair evidence. The Dispatcher considers the resulting readiness and charging record separately; range remains an estimate.

    • Authorize eligible defect release under the agreed policy
    • Updates Vehicles, Vehicle defects, Load assignments
ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • A receipt belongs to another vehicle. Resolve the vehicle identity before using the receipt to close the session.
  • Charging is treated as a readiness release. A completed charge does not clear an unresolved defect or replace the agreed inspection decision.
  • Range is treated as a confirmed outcome. Keep operating assumptions with any range estimate; the ending charge percentage is a recorded session result.
