Who it's for

Conferences and sessions

A conference team often runs multiple sessions close together. Each session can have its own event record, venue, start and end time, owner and capacity. The parent event link on admissions and scans keeps an attendee's arrival tied to the intended session. A reviewer checks the exact submitted revision before the event opens or a scan completes.

How Event + Ticketing + CRM + Analytics is set up for you

Session planning

Use the calendar to compare event times and venues before opening registration at the door.

Capacity claim

Reserve an admission quantity against the selected session rather than a general conference label.

Evidence trail

Keep scan decisions, payment events and attachments linked to the same parent event.

A conference team often runs multiple sessions close together. Each session can have its own event record, venue, start and end time, owner and capacity. The parent event link on admissions and scans keeps an attendee's arrival tied to the intended session. A reviewer checks the exact submitted revision before the event opens or a scan completes.

Pilot one day with a morning session and an afternoon session. Create a separate event for each, even if both share an organizer. Assign a venue and owner and enter the expected capacity. Review each event's schedule. Have an operator select the morning event and reserve places for one attendee reference. Submit and approve a ticket scan against the same event, then check that its admission count agrees with the admitted line.

Rehearse a scan accidentally aimed at the afternoon session. The parent event and organization should make the mistake visible before it becomes a completed admission. Rehearse an over-capacity count separately. A valid ticket code alone cannot establish spare capacity. The reviewer should see both the event and the submitted scan revision when deciding.

At the end of the conference day, compare reserved places, admitted times and completed scans for each session. Match provider captures through verified payment evidence. If the sessions share a venue, use the event calendar and venue record to make the schedule handoff explicit. Review open operation receipts before closing either event.
