How a Factory Energy Management rollout works

Start with a known site and rehearse the decisions behind accepted energy evidence.

  1. Choose the operating scope

Select a factory site and an energy review period the team understands. Identify Energy Manager and the people responsible for observations, maintenance and cost review.

  2. Prepare the foundation

Admin maps people to their accounts and checks the site timezone. Load the meter register with energy type, unit and reading mode, then prepare the effective site tariffs.

  3. Rehearse observation review

Meter Operator enters an ordinary reading and a rejected example. Energy Manager reviews the correction, checks interval boundaries and accepts usable consumption.

  4. Rehearse site decisions

Record an operating event and validate its actual interval. Maintenance Coordinator authorizes assigned work; Technician records completion; Energy Manager reviews recovery separately.

  5. Review allocations and factors

Cost Analyst prepares a recognizable work order allocation. Sustainability Analyst supplies a cited event-linked factor. Test negative values and reversed or unsuitable periods before using the results.

  6. Release the operating cycle

Configure the agreed reports and connections, verify access with each role and compare the results with the source evidence. Expand to another site or meter after the team can explain the initial cycle.

What the customer provides

Provide the site and meter register, local timezone conventions and sample observations with quality explanations. Bring the applicable tariff history, production reference convention and emission factor sources. Identify the people who authorize site tasks and review reading evidence. Include an example of rejected evidence so the rehearsal covers correction as well as acceptance.

Changing it afterwards

Review changes to reading interpretation, allocation methods or rate selection with the person who owns the resulting analysis. Rehearse a representative case before applying the new rule to a wider operating period. Keep the actual source dates and citations available when explaining a changed result.
